I realised if I made a slapdash attempt to explain the many beautiful things that had happened to me, then the hard-nosed among you would sneer, cynically, and dismiss me as a 'head-case'! I did not want to give that impression Nevertheless, I was aware that I had to make the reader conscious of how difficult it was for me to share the personal revelations and transcendent experiences that are contained in this book. They are both delicate and vulnerable, particularly in the public forum. The reader should understand that I do not offer them up lightly or easily. It is with great caution, therefore, that I began by stating that this book is about - truth. One may then ask what truth? I would answer: Great Truth. For me, it was a revelation to discover that one finds such truth only through mystical experience. There is no easier way to it; in fact there is no other way to it! Ironically, once discovered, one cannot contain this Truth, or own it, for it slips away from the grasp should one attempt to capture it or cling on to it. One simply has to acknowledge its existence. Once accomplished, the long-term effects of such an acceptance can be awesome and magical. It was through such magic that is contained in the Arthurian Romances that I began my search. They contain a 'doorway' through which one can pass towards a greater personal understanding.
